Tax Debt Compass is committed to making our educational guides accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies.
Our approach. We aim to follow widely recognized accessibility guidelines (WCAG) as we build and maintain this site. That means we work toward readable text with good contrast, a logical heading structure, descriptive link text, and meaningful alternative text on images where needed.
Keyboard access. We aim for the site to be fully usable with a keyboard alone: you should be able to move through links, buttons, and form fields using Tab and Shift+Tab, activate controls with Enter or Space, and always see where your focus is.
Ongoing effort. Accessibility is a continuous process. Some older content or third-party tools — such as embedded forms or consent banners — may not yet fully meet our standards, and we are working to improve them.
